The Plan Usage panel gives firm admins a quick, real-time snapshot of how their account is tracking against monthly usage limits—right from the dashboard. No need to dig into reports or settings to understand where things stand.

What is the Plan Usage panel?

The Plan Usage panel displays your current month’s usage at a glance, broken down into key metered features:

  • Storage

  • OCR

  • Transcription

  • Document Intelligence

  • AI Credits

Each tile (except Storage) includes a visual progress bar to help you quickly see how much of your included allowance has been used—and whether you’ve gone over.

NOTE: The Plan Usage panel is only visible to firm admins.

If you’re a Standard/Limited/Guest user and don’t see this panel on your dashboard, that’s expected.

How to read the usage tiles

Each metered tile shows:

  • A progress bar:

    • The lighter portion represents your included monthly allowance.

    • The darker portion shows any overage usage beyond what’s included in your plan.

  • A usage summary (e.g., credits used, minutes processed, etc.)

And you'll see:

  • A “View details” link that takes you to the full usage breakdown page.

Storage is shown differently

Unlike the other tiles, Storage does not include a progress bar. Instead, it shows:

  • Your current total storage (GB)

  • Your daily average usage

This reflects how storage is calculated and billed based on average usage over time.

Why you may (or may not) see dollar amounts

You may notice dollar amounts (e.g., “+$4.20”) next to some usage tiles. These represent overage costs. It only appears if your firm is set up to be billed for overages, and

  • For OCR, Transcription, Document Intelligence, and AI Credits:

    • Your firm must also have opted in to overage billing

If you’re expecting to see pricing but don’t, it’s likely because overage billing hasn’t been enabled for your account.

Loading message

When the panel is first loading, you may briefly see the message:

“Fetching the latest usage numbers — this can take a few seconds.”

This is normal—the system is pulling the most up-to-date usage data for your account.
