Casefleet’s Document Intelligence feature uses advanced AI to help you quickly understand the key contents of your documents. One of its core outputs is the Document Summary, which provides an overview of the text-based content in your source file, allowing you to scan and assess its relevance before diving into a detailed review.

NOTE: Usage-based billing is required for any account wanting access to Casefleet's document intelligence features. To learn more about Casefleet's usage billing, click here.

Once Document Intelligence runs on a document, Casefleet will provide you with a one-paragraph, AI-generated summary based on the document's textual data. Beneath the document summary, you will see cards displayed with more detailed information related to content found on specific pages in the document. Click on the page numbers in the Summary sidebar to quickly jump to the pages referenced on the card.

If there is no pre-existing content in the “memo” section of the related source, this short summary will be automatically copied to that field.

NOTE: The Document Summary feature relies entirely on OCR and text transcription. It does not analyze images, handwriting, or other non-textual elements within a document. For the most accurate results, especially when working with scanned PDFs or image-based files, it’s recommended to run OCR before initiating Document Intelligence.
